Level Up Progress Recognition Program

We use a comprehensive system of achievement markers to track student development, much like the advancement structure found in martial arts. The Level Up program is totally voluntary, but in our experience, providing learners with a tangible method to measure their accomplishments does wonders to motivate growth.

Flexible Lesson Makeup

We know that family schedules can change on short notice. For this reason, we provide unlimited lesson rescheduling at no additional cost. Our easy-to-navigate online student platform lets you cancel and reschedule individual music lessons without requiring direct contact with our staff. Of course, if you’d like, we’re also happy to manage the scheduling changes for you.

Recital Experiences That Build Confidence

Twice a year, students have the opportunity to perform live at Boston Court Pasadena, a beautiful venue that provides a real stage experience. These recitals help build confidence, give students something to work toward, and allow families to celebrate their child’s musical milestones in a warm, supportive atmosphere.

Our state-of-the-art location features a comfortable family lounge filled with free amenities: internet access, beverages, hot drinks, reading materials, electronic device charging areas, massage seating, and creative activities for younger children. Complete Student Security Measures

We prioritize student safety at Pasadena Music Academy. All of our staff and teaching faculty undergo background checks and our teaching spaces include security cameras. We welcome parents and caregivers to observe lessons at any time. In addition, all rooms feature viewing windows (with the exception of drum spaces, due to soundproofing needs).

Annual Free Photography Sessions

We organize a complimentary professional photo day each year that families truly love. Students can bring their musical instruments and wear whatever they like. Our adult learners are also invited to participate!

Only good things at PMA! My daughter began taking lessons in the late spring with Marcella and has made such tremendous progress, not only with her vocals but also stage presence and performance. A few weeks into lessons, Marcella recommended my daughter sign up for the recital. On the day of the recital our family was shocked at the progress made - she received a standing ovation! All thanks to Marcella! My daughter really enjoys having her as a vocal coach/instructor and looks forward to each session. She's patient, engaging and has built up my daughter's confidence, all while teaching technique, developing vocal skills. The front desk at PMA are also incredibly helpful and easy to contact, whether by phone, text or email. I appreciate how easy it is to book makeup lessons and change schedules online. My daughter also enjoys seeing Marcella's feedback and thoughtful comments posted after each lesson.

I started my daughter at PMA on the recommendation of a friend who is a musician, and we have been so happy with our experience there! My son LOVES his teacher, Daniel. He's a grumpy 13 year old boy, but he lights up when he sees Daniel. He's learning to love and enjoy Piano. This school is great at communication, scheduling make-ups, etc. We are very happy here.
