PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNIES

PASADENA MUSIC ACADEMY organizes two recitals and student concerts each year. Our Spring performance is taking place around early May and our Winter performance takes place in December. Most of our performances are held at the wonderful Boston Court Pasadena. Our students and their families and friends love our concerts and recitals!

RECITAL VENUE

CONCERT VENUE

Students who participate in our biannual concerts and recitals build their confidence with each performance. We also see that having a goal of performing at a scheduled event motivates our students to practice more and get excited.

Of course many of our students feel a bit nervous mainly before their first performance. That is ok and absolutely normal. We always make sure that everyone is well prepared and ready to be on stage! Our goal is to create positive, encouraging and confidence building experiences for our students. We have lots of staff helping out on stage (and behind the stage) to help all performers through the entire process. You will see lots of high fives, encouraging words and support!

Not only are there benefits for the performers. Every parent wants to know how their child is doing and if they are really progressing. The best way for a parent to understand if their investment in lessons is really worth it, is to have their child participate in one of our events.

It truly is a fantastic experience for the entire family!

Why Choose Pasadena Music Academy?

Outstanding Music Faculty With Professional Backgrounds

We’re proud to employ over 100 talented music instructors who contribute an amazing diversity of experiences, training levels, and performance histories to our student community. This incredible variety stands as one of our core strengths, helping us carefully match each learner with an educator who understands their specific learning style, musical interests, and objectives.

Level Up Progress Recognition Program

We use a comprehensive system of achievement markers to track student development, much like the advancement structure found in martial arts. The Level Up program is totally voluntary, but in our experience, providing learners with a tangible method to measure their accomplishments does wonders to motivate growth.

Flexible Lesson Makeup

We know that family schedules can change on short notice. For this reason, we provide unlimited lesson rescheduling at no additional cost. Our easy-to-navigate online student platform lets you cancel and reschedule individual music lessons without requiring direct contact with our staff. Of course, if you’d like, we’re also happy to manage the scheduling changes for you.

Recital Experiences That Build Confidence

Twice a year, students have the opportunity to perform live at Boston Court Pasadena, a beautiful venue that provides a real stage experience. These recitals help build confidence, give students something to work toward, and allow families to celebrate their child’s musical milestones in a warm, supportive atmosphere.

Cutting-Edge Facility With Convenient Parking

Our state-of-the-art location features a comfortable family lounge filled with free amenities: internet access, beverages, hot drinks, reading materials, electronic device charging areas, massage seating, and creative activities for younger children. Complimentary parking is located right outside our academy.

Full-Service Office Team Seven Days a Week

Pasadena Music Academy has a full-time administrative staff available to serve you throughout the entire week. We make it our priority to stay accessible, so we’re just a call or click away to assist you!

No Contract Commitments

We believe in flexibility—all students benefit from month-to-month enrollment without long-term obligations. Whether you want to pause or restart lessons, our monthly enrollment simplifies lesson planning and commitments.

A Reputation for Quality Since 2011

Since 2011, Pasadena Music Academy has been trusted by hundreds of local families each week. We’re proud of our strong reputation for quality music education and great customer service. You can read what families are saying about us on Google and Yelp.

Complete Student Security Measures

We prioritize student safety at Pasadena Music Academy. All of our staff and teaching faculty undergo background checks and our teaching spaces include security cameras. We welcome parents and caregivers to observe lessons at any time. In addition, all rooms feature viewing windows (with the exception of drum spaces, due to soundproofing needs).

Annual Free Photography Sessions

We organize a complimentary professional photo day each year that families truly love. Students can bring their musical instruments and wear whatever they like. Our adult learners are also invited to participate!
